Brooklyn Terminal (N scale, 6' x 7')
The Brooklyn Terminal is a proto-freelanced, N scale, layout inspired by the Bush Terminal as it existed in the 1940's . Entirely scratch built, it was the cover article in the October 2021 issue of Model Railroader. As with its namesake, ample space is dedicated to street running. Exposed rail is code 40 with hand laid turnouts. Many of the structures were built using a technique where photos of the prototype were laminated over a 3D core.
